Ringette is separated into divisions based on the players age on December 31st of the current year.
U07 – 4 to 6 year olds just learning how to skate with games starting in January if they are ready. Estimate 25 practices & 8 games
U09 – youth under the age of 9 who are more solid on their skates and ready to start games in November. Inexperienced 8 year olds do very well here. Estimate 25 practices & 12 games
U10 – 9 year old players and experienced 8 year olds who are reasonable skaters enjoy this division as games start October. Estimate 25 practices & 20 games
U12 / U14 / U16 / U19 – youth who start playing games at the end of September. New players are welcome though their introduction into games will be based on the players readiness (most players know when they are ready). Estimate 25 practices & 20 games
18+ – these are adults that are still pursuing the sport they love.
Masters – new adult players of ringette – quite often parents of youth ringette players.
